Multiple people stabbed in downtown LA

Multiple people have been injured in a mass stabbing in downtown Los Angeles.
One person was rushed to hospital while five others were reportedly injured across two locations in the 500 block of W. 7th Street at around 5.14pm.
A woman in her 30s is believed to have suffered a serious laceration to her wrist, but it is unclear what condition she was in.
Early reports say a fight broke out after a party at Zaya restaurant on 7th and Olive Street where two people were knifed and one person was injured by a bottle.
Witnesses said they saw a suspect fleeing with a folding knife along 7th Street and Grand Avenue.
Citizen footage showed dozens of firefighters and cops at the busy intersection that was shut down Sunday night.
Other video showed a woman in a white dress being wheeled into the back of an LAFD ambulance.
LAPD Central Division posted: “Reports of multiple people injured at 7th St and Flower. Officers have responded and closed off the area. Expect traffic delays in the area.”
Police later said two suspects were arrested at the scene.
Zaya is a lounge-style venue on 7th street. The restaurant markets itself as an upscale “dinner and a show” destination. The spot is known for its dim lighting, cocktails and live performances and is designed to feel more like a private party than a traditional restaurant, with tightly packed seating and a nightlife-driven crowd.
