New Research Links Lack of Sleep, High Blood Pressure, and Brain Aging

A new study shows that people who have high blood pressure and get less sleep are more likely to show more brain aging.

The research published in the Journal of the American Heart Association found those who slept less than six hours are more affected.

But that’s not the case when their blood pressure is normal.

The results are correlational, but they could lead to studies evaluating treatments that modify sleep and treatments that manage blood pressure.
